SketchSkool Kids is a drawing app for young children made by Platinum Digital Enterprise. It is built to collect as little as possible: no names, no email addresses, no photos, no location, no advertising and no tracking.
What we never collect
The app never asks a child — or anyone — for a name, email address, phone number, photo, contacts or location. It contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, no chat or social features, and no links out of the app.
What the app stores, and why
An anonymous account. The first time the app opens it creates a random identifier with no email or password, so your child’s pictures and progress stay with your device.
Finished pictures. When your child taps the green tick, the strokes they drew and a snapshot image of the picture are saved so it can appear in My pictures. Snapshot images are stored under a random, unlisted web address; they are not listed, searchable or shown to anyone else.
Progress. Which pictures were finished, how closely a tracing followed the guide, how long it took, and the number of stars earned — used to show stars and completed pictures.
On the device only. The Easy / Hard colouring setting and a copy of the picture list so the app works without a connection.
Who processes it
Pictures and progress are stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, which provides our database, file storage and anonymous sign-in. App updates are delivered by Expo, which receives standard technical information such as the app version and IP address. Apple and Google process app downloads under their own policies. None of these providers may use the data for advertising.
We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone else.
Children
SketchSkool Kids is designed for children, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Settings sit behind a parent gate (a maths question) so children can’t change them on their own.
Deleting data
Any finished picture can be deleted from My pictures by pressing and holding it. Because accounts are anonymous we can’t link data to a person by name, but if you’d like help removing data from your device’s account, email us from the Support page and we’ll work through it with you.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s store listing.
